About Us
The School of Education in nine graduate, 15 undergraduate and post-bachelor programs, supported and prepared 36 Ph.D., 132 Master’s, and 212 Educator Licensure graduates in 2005-2006, to become leaders and teachers in an array of dynamic settings. Graduates of our School become licensed teachers, counselors, and principals in 14 different settings within PK-16 schools, technical education teachers, career counselors in career and workforce centers, counselors in community settings, and in business, as organizational managers, leaders, and change agents. Others become higher education faculty, researchers, and administrators in student affairs, community colleges and university settings. Our five Master’s programs average a 90% placement rate, and our four Ph.D. specializations place more than 80% in universities or specific-discipline positions.
